The QB Play Was A Big Part Of The Tides 1st Scrimmage...

on 4/09/2017

Crimson Tide Spring Football:

Not long after Alabama's scrimmage started on Saturday, Jalen Hurts already had two touchdown passes -- one to Calvin Ridley and a long one to Robert Foster on the next drive.

"I thought the transition on offense was pretty smooth on offense with the things we were doing, the carryover of things we've done from the past as well as the new things that we did," Saban said.

"I thought we were much more effective passing the football today. A lot of big plays. A lot of explosive plays throwing the ball, especially play-action passes."

All three quarterbacks did a "fairly good job," Saban said, though stats weren't provided for Tagovailoa or Jones.
