Crimson Tide Gymnastics:

The No. 4-ranked Alabama gymnastics team came away with a 196.925-196.675 win over No. 12 Boise State in Coleman Coliseum Friday night in front of 10,648 fans.

"Well I thought tonight was a bit of a battle,"
UA head coach Dana Duckworth said. "We definitely had ups and downs, but the girls kept fighting for every tenth and every routine and I was very proud of that.

We made the decision to rest Kiana Winston, who has been a top all-arounder for us, and we still had a big score, which is very exciting."

The crowd included Olympic all-around champion Nastia Liukin as well as a host of tiara-wearing little girls for Princess Night.

Alabama goes on the road for its next meet, traveling to Athens, Ga., on Sunday, March 5 at 2:00 p.m. ET to take on the Georgia Bulldogs.
