Crimson Tide Gymnastics:

The Alabama gymnastics team is ranked sixth in the nation this week and will face No. 3 Florida in the Crimson Tide's fourth top-10 showdown of the season on Friday in the Crimson Tide's annual Power of Pink meet.

Tickets for Friday's meet are available through the Alabama Ticket Office (205.348.3362) located in the lobby of Coleman Coliseum and online at RollTide.com.

Oklahoma and LSU remain the nation's top-two teams. With Florida in third and Utah in fourth. UCLA moved up to fifth and Alabama is sixth. Michigan moved up to seventh this week while Denver, Georgia and Kentucky round out the top-10.

There are six Southeastern Conference teams ranked in the top-12 nationally – LSU (2), Florida (3), Alabama (6), Georgia (9), Kentucky (10) and Missouri (11).

Alabama remains in the top 15 on all four events, including being ranked fifth on the balance beam, ninth on the vault, 13th on the floor exercise and 15th on the uneven bars.

Junior Kiana Winston is No. 14 in the all-around, second on the balance beam and eighth on the floor exercise. Junior Nickie Guerrero is seventh and senior Aja Sims is 17th on the balance beam. Sims is also ranked 21st on the floor exercise. Senior Katie Bailey is 24th on the uneven bars.

Friday's Alabama-Florida matchup marks the Tide's 13th annual Power of Pink meet. The Power of Pink initiative started under legendary Alabama coach Sarah Patterson to help raise awareness in the fight against breast cancer. It marks the second time the Gators have taken part in UA's Power of Pink meet.
